Charles Cullen is known in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as the "serial-killer nurse." Cullen is accused to have killed as many as 40 patients at hospitals and nursing homes during his 16-year career as a registered nurse in New Jersey and Pennsylvania hospitals and nursing homes. His modus operandi, says the state, was to administer fatal overdoses of dangerous drugs to patients he selected for unknown reasons.
