Casey Anthony Defense Stumbles on Roy Kronk Testimony - Yahoo! News

Casey Anthony Defense Stumbles on Roy Kronk Testimony - Yahoo! NewsRoy Kronk looked like a guy who was prepared to be worked over by defense attorneys. He said "sir" at the end of nearly every response, and tried very hard to be specific in response to Cheney Mason's persistently pointed questions.

Pennsylvania House Debates Voter Identification with Bill 934 - Yahoo! News

Pennsylvania House Debates Voter Identification with Bill 934 - Yahoo! NewsThere's no doubt that photo ID regs would cut deeply into the Democratic Party voter ranks. ACORN was hit with felony charges and fines for registering Democrats from the phone book. President Carter was on a bi-partisan commission in 2004 to reform the process and said that voter photo ID rules were both practical and desirable to ensure the integrity of the process. The Commission on Electoral Reform cited two cases of massive voter fraud in Wisconsin and Washington state where the outcome was decided (after court trials) by voter fraud. Anecdotally, there was a great deal of voter fraud in 2008, I think. Anyway, rounding up skid row ppl and paying them to vote shouldn't be counted as real votes even for Democrats. At the same time, there are incidences of Republicans doing it, too, but less so. The idea is to stop it--otherwise we're just a New Banana Republic (which somtimes I think we're becoming.) ..

Was Operation Gunrunner a Pet Project of Gun-Control Senators? - Yahoo! News

Was Operation Gunrunner a Pet Project of Gun-Control Senators? - Yahoo! NewsCOMMENTARY | There is a tenuous connection between the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Enforcement, Operation Gunrunner, and top Democrats in the Senate, but it's a connection worth looking at.

The quick brief on "Operation Gunrunner" is that it was a misguided ATF plan hatched by as yet unknown ATF officials which allowed guns purchased in the U.S. to "walk" across the borders into Mexico. Anyone tempted to think that would be a good idea should think of trying the same thing with gangs like MS-13 operating in the U.S.

Gatto has written an article that disputes previously reported news that 20-year-old Spierer was drinking with Rossman at Kilroy's Sports Bar in Bloomington. The blogger seems to have spoken with someone who observed Spierer "pouring her heart out" about drugs she had taken.

"First of all, yes, there was a person in the back of the truck, but I am pretty certain that it was not Lauren. You cannot tell if it is Lauren in the back of the truck because the picture is not clear enough to make anything out except the truck itself. so I don't see how you can say it was indeed Lauren."

Ican't see it, though..

Rick Santorum Seeks to Fill Conservative Niche in 2012 Elections - Yahoo! News

Rick Santorum Seeks to Fill Conservative Niche in 2012 Elections - Yahoo! NewsThe political referees counted out former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum after his resounding defeat by incumbent Bob Casey in 2006, but the two-term senator is back for another bout. Seeing a staunchly conservative niche not yet fully occupied, Santorum officially announced today he's running for president in 2012.
Good Morning America's George Stephanopoul o s gave Santorum a fair shake in an interview this morning. Was it that Stephanopoulos regarded Santorum as so unlikely a winner that he could afford to tout the former senator's qualifications?
Perhaps, but Stephanopoulos could not justifiably ignore the magnitude of Santorum's defeat in 2006. Casey took 58.7 percent of the Pennsylvania vote compared to 41.3 percent for Santorum.

May ADP Job Growth Figures Refute White House Outlook on Recovery - Yahoo! News

May ADP Job Growth Figures Refute White House Outlook on Recovery - Yahoo! News government economic models were runways, the plane would crash every time. If government and private industry job growth predictions were bullets, most of us would have already been killed by friendly fire.

New York Congressman Weiner Caught in a Quandary - Yahoo! News

New York Congressman Weiner Caught in a Quandary - Yahoo! The photo was of a male bulge in some dirty-gray cotton underwear, sexy only in a Woody Allen sense of the word.

People will not soon tire of the "Weiner" double entendre.
