Cindy Anthony Testimony Reveals a Mother's Deep Wounds - Yahoo! News

Cindy Anthony Testimony Reveals a Mother's Deep Wounds - Yahoo! News"I used pretty much a whole can of Febreze," said Cindy Anthony, continuing her courtroom testimony Tuesday in the capital murder trial of her daughter Casey.
Casey's mother described the efforts she made to remove the odor from the Pontiac Sunfire, which smelled of decomposition even after weeks at an auto impound lot. Cindy and George Anthony were not the first persons to notice the smell of decomposition. Tow truck operator Simon Birch had previously testified he knew "what that smells like."
Cindy Anthony told the court the odor was so strong that it permeated several of the items found in the car. With a mother's concern, Cindy today described how she attempted to remove the odors emanating from the car.
Among the items Cindy Anthony retrieved from the Pontiac Sunfire was Caylee's favorite doll. First using Clorox wipes to clean the doll's face and hands, Cindy felt she needed stronger stuff because the doll's body was soft and had absorbed the odor.
"I sprayed Febreze throughout the car thinking that might help the odor," Cindy explained with tears in her eyes.

It's kind of like that Shakespeare thing: "Out, out, damned spot!"

Lost on the Road to Damascus - Yahoo! News

Lost on the Road to Damascus - Yahoo! NewsCOMMENTARY | White House policy stumbles into Syria began before Barack Obama became president. It was 2007 when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi hit the road for Damascus, overriding Bush state department criticism of her attempted rogue diplomacy. What wish-fulfillment fantasies compelled Pelosi to visit a country officially listed as a "state sponsor of terror?
"The road to Damascus is the road to peace!" Pelosi enthused.

It's taken all this time for the White House to impose half-hearted sanctions--now that 900 people were mowed down by Iran's butt-buddy Assad.

Our Friend and Enemy, Pakistan - Yahoo! News#mwpphu-container

The history of the U.S. relationship with Pakistan has been written in shades of gray. The American public was either disinterested or kept in the dark about terrorist intrigues in Pakistan. Pakistanis are angry about being left in the dark about the U.S raid on the bin Laden compound.
