Bomb, Bomb, Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iran

John McCain was singing the right song, at least, upstaging the Obama administration's latest version of Iran Kumbaya. Hillary Clinton finally found her voice in warning against Iran 'becoming" a military dictatorship. Gee whiz! When did that happen?

It's been happening for a long time and these latest paroxysms in which the Iranian Secret Police are murdering people in the streets met with silence from the Obama administration--until Hillary's broadside. But why didn't Obama take the muzzle off her earlier? Or should I say the "burqua?"

General Petraeus now wants to send some kind of signal to the Iran regime Now, it would be nice if the intensely scripted president would chime in, wouldn't it? Or is he still marveling over the wonders he's achieved by announcing "engagement" with Iran?

I don't know, it's typical of Democrats to leave the issue open for the next president. After all, Obama wants the right of condemnation if the Israelis should remind us that top Nazi Amadinajad wants to "wipe Israel off the map."

Frankly, I think Amadinajad is taking it in the nether regions from Hamas, and maybe from the guy who got snuffed out in that Dubai hotel room. Amadinajad would have plenty of reason for getting rid of an old bf. But how's this going to end? Badly, I'm sure, unless President Obama grows a spine....

I guess we shouldn't be too anxious though. The president took only 10 months to decide that General McChrystal needed the additional troops. Now he's sent the 30,000 troops and it already seems to have made a difference. Give him credit, though, for authorizing the additional predator drone strikes...he seems to have got that idea all by himself, proving that his IEP is working just fine.

Things will get worse before the ">Great Deliberator acts to make things better.

Joe Biden's Sin and Public Praying

You may have gathered I could be more religious. Nonetheless, I enjoyed going to the Ash Wednesday service at St. Luke's Catholic church. Being the wonderful person that I am, I had few sins to confess but deposited what few I had in a little fire where we burned them. It was a nice event, and uplifting to see all these people coming together for the 40 days of Lent.

I've always felt that the Catholic Church could have done more than look on as Hitler murdered six million Jews. But I was born to an Italian family and that usually means Catholic. Catholicism is an offshoot of Judaism, and I always felt like I might be comfortable with being Jewish. I like older religions and Judaism predates Christianity by thousands of years. On the other hand, I wouldn't want to go overboard on the "older religion" idea b/c that would mean I am pagan, and like the Romans would worship the usual household Gods. Truth to tell, I think there is an element of paganism in my Italian Catholic upbringing. You've seen the Godfather, haven't you?

What I wanted to talk about was Joe Biden's public posturing with the ashes on his forehead. Yeah, we know, Joe--you're Catholic too. But you must have calculated how beautiful it would look to the left-wing CNN reporters who photographed you standing behind Barack Obama. What a phony, Joe! Even in our ceremony, our local priest admonished against those like yourself who would advertise their phony piety in grand public appearances. Yet, there you were, with the ashes on your head, posing chastely for the cameras.

"Remember man, that thou are dust and unto dust thou shalt return."

Acknowledgement of guilt or of one's sins can lead to a better future so long as it is sincere. However, Mr. Biden seems unable to acknowledge guilt and now claims his administration had something to do with success in Iraq. No one has forgotten that Barack Obama and Joe Biden were the greatest cheerleaders for failure in Iraq.

Obama railed against the surge in too many speeches going back to 2004 when he used the issue to advance his career. Biden, the supposed foreign policy expert, wanted to create three Iraqs: A Shiite Iraq, a Sunni Iraq, and a Kurdish Iraq. I suppose that was so that he could appoint three more ambassadorships for his pals.

And now Biden stands with Catholic ashes on his head and claims that Bush's strategy of victory in Iraq was the Obama administration's "greatest achievement." Asshole blasphemer! Hypocrite! Phony! The Catholic churchs warns against people like you, Joe Biden!

"Family Guy" One Deluded MoFo

I'm neutral about Sarah Palin as a politician but I noticed that she and her family don't have the stink of slick Washington D.C. politicians on them. I like them and I think they're brave. But you'd have to be brain-dead not to come to their defense after that crummy, no-talent cartoon show writer Seith McFarlane of the so-called "Family Guy" hit out at Palin. Not just at Palin, the low-life bastard hit hard on the Palin's developmentally delayed son Trig. Wow, McFarlane has some kind of weird problem, I'd say.

Not only does McFarlane have to beat the woman down, he has to beat her kid down. I'll bet Seth McFarlane wouldn't try beating down Palin's husband, though, because punks don't pick on guys like Palin's husband. He'd probably have some dog-sled tracks imprinted on his face.... at the very least.

McFarlane calls himself an "equal opportunity offender." I"ll bet. Sure, he'll pinion Sasha and Melia in his next episode, just to tweak Michelle. They're not politicians so they're fair game in McFarlane's book. No, that wouldn't be according to type.

With a little luck, maybe "Family Guy" will go after Bill Clinton's daughter nextg. No, he's likely to get a much needed ass-whippin' there, too.

But the smear will have it venom-spewing defenders, like that woman from Entertainment Weekly who appeared on CNN. Even the guy on CNN was revolted by McFarlane's unfunny beat-down of a developmentally delayed kid or "a retard" if you're listening to Rahm Emmanual.

Obama Eschews Grandstanding?

Ironic that a guy who's made a whole life out of "grandstanding" now chides the GOP opposition to his one-party health care bill for wanting to start over.

Starting over would mean that some kind of tort reform gets passed. Add in the ability to buy health care across state borders and then maybe you have the beginning of a bi-partisan discussion.

Obama's too afraid of offending the "lawyer class" who have made tremendous strides in replacing the aristocracy we had in colonial times.

Conservative bloggers like Andrea Tantaros are saying that the Deceptocrats have laid a trap.

Counterterror Chief Takes Critics to Task - WSJ.com

Counterterror Chief Takes Critics to Task - WSJ.comIs Brennan a counter-terror "chief" or a counter-terror "shield"? Brennan's one reason Obama should crack down on marijuana abusers.

Abdulmutallab has only unbuttoned his lip because of the decency and good sense of his family members who requested help from intelligence services. Brennan’s brain is AWOL on this. He puffs a little legalese that “'in FBI custody' means that there's a process then you follow as far as Mirandizing and presenting him in front of a magistrate." Oooh! Maybe they’ll get President Obama’s Webeloes Badge. The AG should have put the terrorist into the hands of the proper intelligence services and provided him a one-way ticket to Guantanamo. In fact, the Obama administration sheltered Abdulmutallab from U.S. Intelligence chiefs.

All this mind-numbing Brennan chatter is groundwork for the administration’s “Let’s Make a Deal” program, soon to be announced. Humane treatment of prisoners is one thing. Imposed stupidity from on high is another.
